1. Scope and acceptance of the terms
1.1. These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) govern the use of the website www.rebelheart-book.com (hereinafter: the “Webshop” or “Website”) operated by Woven Hills Limited Liability Company (hereinafter: the “Service Provider”, the “Seller” or the “Business”), as well as all sales contracts concluded via the Webshop.
1.2. Purchases made in the Webshop qualify as distance contracts concluded by electronic means, to which, in particular, the following laws apply:

Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code (Ptk.),
Act CVIII of 2001 on Certain Issues of Electronic Commerce Services and Information Society Services (Eker. tv.),
Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between consumers and businesses,
Act CLV of 1997 on Consumer Protection,
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).
1.3.
By using the Webshop and, in particular, by finalising an order, the User/Customer (hereinafter: the “Customer” or the “Consumer”) acknowledges and accepts the provisions of these GTC.
If the Customer does not accept the GTC, the Webshop may not be used and no order may be placed.
1.4.
These GTC enter into force upon their publication on the Website and remain in effect until withdrawn.
The Service Provider is entitled to unilaterally amend the GTC; the amended provisions apply to orders placed after their publication.

3. Products and Prices Available in the Webshop
3.1. The Webshop primarily offers the book titled “Rebel Heart” (in various language/edition variants).
The essential characteristics of the products are described in the product description.
3.2. All prices displayed in the Webshop are gross prices, i.e. they include value added tax (if applicable), but do not include the shipping fee.
The shipping fee is shown separately during the ordering process, before payment is finalised.
3.3. The Service Provider reserves the right to modify prices.
Any modification becomes effective upon publication in the Webshop and does not affect orders already placed and confirmed.
3.4.The following are deemed manifestly incorrect prices:
price of 0 HUF/EUR, or
an unrealistically low price clearly resulting from a system error or typographical mistake.
In such cases, the Service Provider is not obliged to sell the product at the incorrect price and is entitled to reject the order or, after consultation with the Customer, to offer the product at the correct price.
4. Placing an Order and Conclusion of the Contract
4.1. Browsing and purchasing in the Webshop do not require registration.
The Customer may place an order by using the shopping cart function and completing the order form.
4.2. Main steps of the ordering process:
1. Selecting the product(s) and adding them to the Cart
2. Checking the contents of the Cart and adjusting quantities if necessary
3. Selecting the shipping method (Foxpost / Packeta – depending on the destination country)
4. Entering billing and shipping details
5. Selecting the payment method
6. Reading and accepting these GTC and the Privacy Policy by ticking the appropriate checkbox
7. Finalising the order by clicking the “Order” (or similarly labelled) button
4.3. Before submitting the order, the Customer may modify any of the data provided (e.g. quantity, shipping address) and the contents of the Cart at any time.
4.4. The language of the contract is Hungarian.
The contract does not qualify as a written contract; it is not filed separately by the Service Provider and will not be available in written form at a later date.
The Service Provider keeps an electronic log of order data in its system.
5. Order Confirmation
5.1. After the order has been placed, the Service Provider sends an automatic confirmation email to the email address provided by the Customer.
This confirmation email contains the essential details of the order (ordered products, prices, shipping fee, order number, etc.).
5.2. If the confirmation email is not received within 24 hours of submitting the order, the Customer is released from the obligation arising from the offer.
In such a case, it is recommended that the Customer contact the Service Provider’s customer support.
5.3. The contract is deemed concluded upon receipt of the confirmation email by the Customer.
6. Payment Methods
6.1. Bank Transfer (Advance Payment)
After placing the order, the Customer receives the Service Provider’s bank account details and the order reference number via email.
The Service Provider reserves the order until payment is received; if the purchase price is not credited to the Service Provider’s account within 3 business days, the Service Provider may cancel the order.
The order reference number must be indicated in the comment field of the bank transfer.
6.2. Online Card Payment (Stripe)
The Webshop offers secure online card payment via Stripe, an international payment service provider.
The Customer enters card details on Stripe’s secure payment interface.
Woven Hills Kft. does not have access to and does not store card data.
Stripe processes the data required for the payment transaction in accordance with its own privacy policy.
6.3. PayPal Payment
The Customer may choose to pay via PayPal.
In this case, the payment is made on the PayPal interface; the Service Provider does not access or process the Customer’s card or account details.
Completion of payment requires a PayPal account or use of the guest payment option provided by PayPal.
6.4. Apple Pay (via Stripe)
If supported by the Customer’s device and card issuer, Apple Pay may be used via Stripe’s integrated payment interface.
The Service Provider does not access the card data in this case either.
6.5. Google Pay (via Stripe)
If supported by the Customer’s device and card issuer, Google Pay may be used via Stripe’s integrated payment interface.
The Service Provider does not access the card data in this case either.
6.6. Currency of Payment
Depending on the Webshop settings, payments may be processed in HUF or EUR.
The applicable currency is clearly indicated on the payment page.
If the Customer’s bank account uses a different currency, the bank will convert the amount using its own exchange rate; therefore, the final debited amount may differ from the amount displayed in the Webshop.
6.7. Unsuccessful Payments
In the event of an unsuccessful, erroneous, or interrupted transaction, the order is not considered final.
In such cases, the Customer may:
attempt payment again,
place a new order, or
contact customer support.
7. Shipping and Delivery
7.1. The available shipping methods, list of destination countries, quantity limitations, shipping fees, and expected delivery times are set out in a separate document titled “Payment and Shipping”, which forms an integral part of these GTC.
7.2. The Customer is responsible for providing accurate shipping details.
Any additional costs arising from unsuccessful delivery due to incorrect address or contact details shall be borne by the Customer.
7.3. If the parcel is returned to the Service Provider because the Customer failed to collect it, the Service Provider will not refund the shipping fee already paid; any reshipment is subject to the payment of a new shipping fee.
8. Consumer Right of Withdrawal
8.1. Under Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), the Consumer has a 14-day right of withdrawal.
The detailed rules for exercising this right, the calculation of deadlines, and the model withdrawal form are set out in a separate document titled “Right of Withdrawal and Returns”, which forms an integral part of these GTC.
8.2. The Consumer acknowledges that, when exercising the right of withdrawal, they are liable for any depreciation in the value of the product resulting from use beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.
8.3. The statutory exceptions to the right of withdrawal (e.g. bespoke or personalised products) apply.
In the case of the Rebel Heart book, the Consumer’s right of withdrawal may not be excluded, but the Consumer is liable for any depreciation of the product.
9. Warranty for Defects, Product Warranty, Guarantee
9.1. In the event of defective performance, the Consumer is entitled to warranty for defects (kellékszavatosság) under the Civil Code.
Under the warranty for defects, the Consumer may request:
· repair or replacement of the product, or
a proportional reduction of the purchase price, or
withdrawal from the contract (in the case of a material defect).
9.2. Books are not subject to mandatory statutory guarantees.
The Service Provider does not provide a voluntary guarantee; in case of defective performance, the Consumer may rely on warranty for defects.
9.3. Performance is particularly considered defective if:
·the book is printing-defective (missing/loose pages, serious printing errors), or
the book is demonstrably damaged during transport (broken or severely damaged cover).
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1. The Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the Website (including, but not limited to, loss of profit or data loss), except where the damage was caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
10.2. The Service Provider shall not be liable for:
·delays or errors caused by courier services,
malfunctions or failures of external service providers (Stripe, Packeta, Foxpost).
10.3. This limitation of liability does not affect statutory consumer rights or the Service Provider’s liability for damages resulting in death, personal injury, or harm to health.
11. Complaint Handling and Enforcement of Rights
The detailed rules of complaint handling and legal remedies are set out in the separate document titled “Complaint Handling Policy”, which forms an integral part of these GTC.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1. All content displayed on the Website (texts, photos, graphic elements, logos, layout, design) is protected by copyright and is the property of Woven Hills Kft. or its authorised licensors.
12.2. Any copying, distribution, adaptation, or republication of the content in any form is only permitted with the prior written consent of the Service Provider.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
13.1. These GTC and the contract concluded between the Parties shall be governed by Hungarian law.
13.2. The Parties shall endeavour to settle any dispute amicably.
If no amicable settlement can be reached, the Consumer may:
bring the case before the court having jurisdiction based on their place of residence, or
bring the case before the court having jurisdiction based on the registered seat of the Service Provider, and
· initiate proceedings before the competent Conciliation Board (Békéltető Testület).
